The most beautiful thing

SO!
My baby arrived :)
And every time I look at him I always say He's so beautiful.
Is it the tiny little fingers and toes, the curly hair or the toothless smile? Is it the eyes that study every detail of my face?
Or maybe is the innocence, the beautiful trust and dependence that forms as the two of us bond. The knowing that he will need me to survive and i will give everything of myself to ensure that survival.
This is the purest form of love... totally unselfish. To me, its the most beautiful thing. A commitment to the well being of someone else.
It's so precious to see the face of that little person who was growing inside of you for months! A joy and treasure special to mothers. How beautiful!
God made you beautiful, you're beautiful to me :)

Tick tock ... waiting

I got this amazing picture from Dandelion wishes photography! Isn't it just adorable!
I've been counting down to my EDD... and i waited with such expectation and anticipation! I got everything ready, Everyone was ready... and watching me like a time bomb! Hehehe!
Anyways, the day came..and passed... and nothing happened. The little guy seems to be a lot more comfortable in my womb. Why should he rush out, right? It's a lovely self contained unit with feeding, respiratory and clean up systems. Well, I'm learning my first lesson on parenting : Give your child the freedom to be himself; to arrive at his own time.
So, it was quite disappointing for me. Now it's a day after, and i have a choice - carry on feeling a little blue, or accept that i don't know when but today (while he isn't here yet) I'll have fun doing things i like to do!
I choose to be happy! SO here's wishing me a fun day! And a fun delivery when the time comes.

God and Man in Love

Men are really created in God’s image and likeness:
He says he doesn’t want to be less than my #1
God says “You shall have no other God’s before me”
He says he wants me to love him with all I am
God says “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind”
He says “I’m here for you anytime, just give me a missed call” J
God says “Call on me in the day of trouble. I will answer you”
He says “I love you”
God says “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with my loving kindness”
When you really offend him, and hurt him, then apologize and say “I’m sorry” He says “Baby, don’t worry about it… and don’t do it again.
God says “If you confess your sins, I am faithful and just to forgive you” (1John 1:9)
When you flirt with another guy because you got a huge crush and then you realize he wasn’t your true love, he says “I’m not giving up on you”
God says “With great compassion, I will take you back” (Isaiah 54:7b)
When you feel like you don’t love him as much as you should, he says “Don’t forget, there are people out there who love you (me)”
God says “Return to me for I have redeemed you” (Isaiah 44:22b)
When you’re really stressed and burned out, he says “Baby, let me give you a massage”
God says “I will carry you” (Isaiah 46:4)
When you need some really good advice or counsel, he says “O.K. baby, why don’t we do it this way…”
God says “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go” (Isaiah 48:17)
When you’re broke, he says “I’m broke too” lol! (Just kidding) he says “I’ll give you something as soon as I can”
God says “I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places that you may know that it is I, the LORD…” (Isaiah 45:3)
When you don’t feel special, he says “You mean the world to me”
God says “The Holy one of Israel … has chosen you” Isa. 49:7b
When you’re scared, he says “Baby, don’t be afraid”
God says “For I, the LORD your God hold your right hand, it is I who say to you ‘Fear not, I will help you’
The more I think about it, the more I see that knowing God isn’t first about being a good person and obeying the law, but it’s about a love relationship first, and the obedience to the commandments spring naturally from the God that you already love. So it starts with LOVE.
